He will explore aspects of digital and innovative government through comparative examples, analyse the relationship of data and algorithms to public policy, examine the regulation and aspects of the digital economy in the EU context, and explore ethical issues relating to autonomous machines and security, such as the ethics of war in relation to self-driving cars, unmanned drones and robotic machines.
