Tuition fees
Each graduate student who enrolls in Master Program is obliged to pay tuition fees for the entire duration of his/her compulsory studies. The tuition fees for the Master’s amount to 3,000 euros.
The tuition payment procedure for the Master Program is done through the Special Research Account of the Ionian University. The fees are used by the Master Program for all expenses required for the education of the students and in general for the operation of the Master Program. Any expenditure is carried out after the approval
With the decision of the Coordinating Committee, and acceptance of the Assembly of the Department of Informatics, the tuition fees of the Master Program.
By decisions and acceptance of the Assembly of the Department of Informatics, following a proposal by the Director of the Master Program, cases of non-payment of tuition fees are regulated.
In case of permanent withdrawal or deletion of a student from Master Program’s tuition fees paid are non-refundable.
Postgraduate students are entitled to the benefits provided by the current legislative framework.
Exemption of tuition fees
According to the current legislation, for the students of the "Ethics in Information Technology" program there is the possibility of exemption from tuition fees.
Please see the following article 86 of 4957/2022 "Right to free study in a Master's Program with tuition fees Scholarships". In summary, the following applies: Registered students can study for free if they meet certain financial and social criteria, as well as excellence conditions from their first cycle of studies. The total number of students who can receive this exemption each year cannot exceed 30% of the enrollment. The application process takes place after the admission of the students to the MSc Programme, and the decisions are taken by the Department Assembly or by the Study Program Committee, depending on the organization of the program. The application of this provision concerns only citizens of the country and does not apply to citizens of third countries. More information:
